Bob has over 32 years of experience in large, medium and “start-up” high technology related companies. He is a high-energy executive with demonstrated management and leadership expertise in very complex, highly competitive and quickly changing global environments. Bob is experienced in developing corporate strategy and growing businesses with existing products as well as gaining adoption of products based upon new, innovative technologies in multiple industries (Semiconductor, Medical Instrumentation, Healthcare IT, Enterprise Infrastructure, Energy, Government, and Industrial) serving global markets (U.S., Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, Australia and South Korea).

Bob has been successful in closing millions of dollars in funding from Venture Capital, Strategic investors and Government grants. He is accomplished in working with companies using internal and University developed, leading edge solutions based upon breakthrough material science; semiconductor equipment, wafers and devices; medical instrumentation; power utility products; wireless; information technology and consumer electronics.

He is involved with several industry organizations and is currently a Charter Member and mentor with TiE Rockies, an advisor for the Healthcare advisory board with the Denver Innovation Pavilion, and an Entrepreneurial Advisor at the Boulder Innovation Center. Bob was previously on the Colorado Nanotechnology Alliance Board of Directors, the Business
Advisory Board of the University of Colorado Technology Transfer Office, the Board of Governors of the Electronic Industry Alliance (EIA), the Memory Standards Organization (JEDEC), the Health Industry Manufacturers Association (HIMA), the American Management Association (AMA), the AMA General Management Council, the American Electronics Association (AEA) and Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International (SEMI). Bob has worked closely with top-tier strategic manufacturers, OEMs, and Distributors in worldwide markets including the U.S., Europe, Japan, China, Taiwan, Australia and South Korea.

He was previously President & CEO of a semiconductor memory device company, Qs Semiconductor Corporation in Santa Clara, Ca. Prior to that, Bob was President & CEO of Phiar Corporation in Boulder, CEO of Kentron Technologies in the Boston area, and President & CEO of Luxtron Corporation in San Jose. He has also held senior management positions at Texas Instruments and Wyse Technology. Bob also served 5 years as an Infantry officer in the U. S. Army prior to beginning his career in high technology.

Bob holds a B.S., Engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point, N.Y.
and an MBA from Saint Edward’s University, Austin, Texas.
